Whilst eating my favourite bakery’s sausage roll, I ended up finding my self singing along with the words of “I love rock and roll” changed to:

I would love it if this was released on say a radio advert and it ended up having an impact on your business and that I helped to do so. I would love to see more bakery’s out of Wigan borough and in city’s, so I could buy one of your pies whilst say walking round Manchester lol

 

60 mile round trip!

Hi, watched Wallace and Grommet yesterday and saw the butter pies on the big container. I thought oo, haven't had one of those for years (used to work for BT and bought them when in the area). So me and wife jumped in car this morning and made a 60 mile round trip to Aspull shop. 5 pies 1 pasty 1 sausage roll and a Vienese. Bit of a laugh with your very nice staff and off home.

I would just like to say how good your pies are

Good Evening. I would just like to say how good your pies are especially the butter and onion pie I am golborne born and have had many a pie I moved away to Norwich in 1989 and missed the good old pie so every time we visit I always purchase £40 worth of pies to take home I always tell people on Norfolk how good your pies are and I usually take a couple into work for my colleagues to try and they always go down well. I visited your Haydock shop today and purchased a few pies to take home to Norfolk and I might just add the staff in all your shops I have been to are so friendly and always smiling so keep up the good work just thought I would give you some positive feed back. I go the Eccleston shop regularly and have eaten my way through most of your pies, cakes and baguettes. There isn't a single thing I've not liked. Everything you do is superb. Puts other bakeries in the shadow.

Exemplary Service from Galloways Staff at Eccleston, St Helens

Just a quick email to recognise the excellent staff at your Millfields outlet in Eccleston St Helens.

I visit this bakery three or four times per week, it’s always a pleasure to be served by the staff here, in particular Ted, Caroline, Colin and Callum (I think that’s his name)

It’s always a very well run outlet, the staff are always extremely helpful, friendly and courteous to their customers and the pies and cakes are delicious.

Can you please pass on my comments to the store concerned and thank the staff for their exemplary service, staff should be praised and recognised when they go the extra mile for their paying customers

Everything Hand Made!

Started working there and I was pleasantly surprised that everything here made by hand... EVERY SINGLE PRODUCT!! Everything made from scratch, no machines, which I think is absolutely amazing, you can honestly say that people put their love and care into it. The atmosphere at work place is very friendly, peaceful, everyone seems happy and content, everyone loves working here. Never seen so many happy people in one place... Bit unusual

So next time you have some biscuit or pie from Galloways think that it's truly homemade and someone put a lot of love into it.  And no, they didn't ask me to write a review,  I just love working here.

10/10 for everything

Carol & Diane in the marsh green Galloways give a top notch service all the time. Carols sausage, bacon & egg on a choice of rolls or barms are always delicious. Always a good selection of made up cold meat rolls an always very good. And the selection of cakes, cookies is equally as good.

Carol & Diane always serve with a smile and a good chat. 

High quality traditional meat pies

Traditional meat pies are a taste sensation - once bought and eaten you will never buy anything else. The quality and flavour of this pie just makes any other pies ordinary and mundane.

One recommendation would be to have them so you could buy them uncooked - so you can buy them, freeze them and eat them at your convenience.

Highly recommended

My local branch has the friendliest staff and the butter pies are legitimately heaven. Hands down the best thing on the menu!
